The Department of Scientometrics and monitoring in Kerman University of Medical Sciences started working in 2009 with the aim of investigating the processes in scientific research for more effective management of science under the Vice Chancellor for Research & Technology. The main duty and mission of Department of Scientometrics and monitoring is to investigate and evaluate the scientific activities of the university and all its subordinate research centers to improve the status of science and scientific productions in the country.
